Missions
Jesus and His Mission are increasingly becoming the central focus of our fellowship. Like Jesus, we understand that as His Body, we are called to serve others. So, “missions” is not something we just support or send others to do. We understand that we are all on mission. Missions is a lifestyle for us. This means that in all aspects of life, we carry ourselves as ministers of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18-20; 1 Peter 2:4-9). Missions is something we attempt to live out every day. So, whether it is engaging our neighbors or co-workers, or going to serve those who live in the uttermost parts of the world, those experiences are just different expressions to help us live out “the Mission”. While we believe "missions" is a lifestyle, we recognize that we are commissioned by Christ to serve and make disciples of all the peoples of the world (Matthew 28:18-20).God has given us a love for the nations and for His Name. We understand full well that God is glorified in our love and unity (Ephesians 4:1-6; John 13:34-35) and that it is Jesus who we want to be famous (Philippians 2:9-11). So, in an effort to do our part to carrying out “the Mission”, we partner and support what is already at work all around the world. Below are those we partner with in fulfilling “the Mission”:
Benevolence Ministries
“The King will reply, ‘I will tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me’.” (Matthew 25:40). We understand the church to be a spiritual family, the family of God. There are times when members of the family need help. We are called to bear one another burdens. And when and where an individual or family has a legitimate need, we try to extend a helping hand and an open heart.
